Here it is...

Hi friends, it's here! Starting a blog has been something I have wanted to do for as long as I can remember now, but I have been too scared to do it. I try to write in a journal pretty frequently, but the thought of putting all my words and ideas out to the public was pretty terrifying. Lately the idea of starting a blog has been very heavy on my heart and it's hard to push that "need to" feeling away when you know something is meant to be. I haven't been able to get rid of this idea for awhile, so here I am.

Life can be pretty weird and throw curveballs at you out of nowhere. I'm not close to perfect, I've been through my own doubts, fears, insecurities, and setbacks. I hope to use this blog to bring my friends and family along for the journey with me. I hope with this I can encourage and inspire people in the most real way possible.

After dropping me off at college I got a text from my dad saying, "A full life can be a little scary. A full life is knowing challenge can be scary, but not being afraid to take it on anyway." That has stuck with me. Of course I am still a tad hesitant, nervous, and scared of failure, but I'm quickly learning that I can't let fear overpower my life or my growth. So here I am, putting it all out there with a racing heart, no idea of what I am going to write about, and no experience. I hope this blog will be able to find the eyes of people who might need it. Already a few months into college I have learned so much and I can only imagine what life has to teach me for the rest of my time here and I cannot wait to share it all with you guys.
